and another one's gone... another one bites the dust...

Check out the "ambassador of the Lord" -

check out his Chinese name tag - check out Grandma's huge smile while saying "that snow outside is CRAP" (she took the words right out of our mouths") - check out Grandpa's bolo!

Another BIG day at our house - that began with finishing some intense to do's ... then family prayer, a father's blessing, a slice of spinach sausage pie (cal's fav) - then a drive across town in a blizzard, to the "EMPTY SEA" - (actually not so empty on Wednesdays) - and finished there with intense emotions - even hard on Ashton this time around.

And now back home as we sigh and relax - we're thinking that Calvin will not have a chance to sigh or relax until "lights out" at 10:30 pm - when he'll drop like a fly! And we wonder how in the world he'll wake to an alarm tomorrow morning at 6.
We're debating our spring break plans (flash flooding down at 'delicate arch' where we wanted to head tomorrow) Do i have any energy to get out of town or even make a plan?
... The girls vote for flipping Calvin's tornado hit room into Carmen's own room (a first) - What's your vote??

I'll post more moments caught on film at: www.sure-ease.blogspot.com
last thought here, - Good thing we grilled last weekend... What's with the downpour of cold white stuff today!!

Hooray for Calvin! The adventure is finally beginning. Can't wait to hear more about his experiences. Good luck with those Spring Break plans too!

p.s. Seriously, what is up with the snow?! I woke up to 5 inches on my back patio this morning! YUCK!

I've been out of cyberspace for awhile, but I've been thinking about you and I'm glad the MTC went well... Have you heard from him yet?
